* Please note that when making an online reservation request that we will reserve the size room that you normally request, or the size that is available for the dates requested. You may put in the comment space the room size that you prefer and we will try to reserve that size, if it’s available. Please remember, this submission is a request for a reservation. You will receive notice of approval or denial of the request by email.

Creature Comforts offers a pampered vacation experience for your pets. We have climate controlled rooms of various sizes that are furnished with comfortable beds, blankets, toys and all day access to individual outdoor space for the dogs.   We do allow parents to bring your pets' familiar bedding and toys so they are as comfortable as possible while staying with us (remember, there is always the chance that belongings could be lost or destroyed). All boarders are offered breakfast and dinner with a mid-day snack. We require that you bring your pets' normal diet, with portion and preparation instructions, to avoid any unnecessary digestive discomfort. However, if you need, we offer Iams at recommended daily amounts for an additional charge of $2/day. All medications will be given as directed, and well documented for your pets' safety, and there is a $4/day fee for medicating. We operate like a people hotel; everybody checks out before 12:30pm, and checks in after 12:30pm. We do offer early check in or late check out by adding a 1/2 day of daycare to secure the room. If your dog isn’t picked up on the scheduled check out day (unless arrangements are made in advance), a fee of $25 will be added to the bill along with an extra night of boarding charge.

Everyone boarding at Creature Comforts receives one-on-one attention and playtime daily. After your pet passes a social evaluation they can participate in daily group-play sessions in our large yards with our other guests here on holiday or visiting for daycare. For the safety of the boarders, and peace of mind for the humans; the owners, Noel and Betsy, live on premises so your pets are rarely left alone.

Birds, reptiles and any small mammals are welcome at Creature Comforts as well. You can feel confident that any pet you have will be expertly cared for during their stay here .......... both owners had long careers as zookeepers so we are prepared for anything. Call for pricing.

Please visit our documents page to fill out the necessary forms before your arrival for a smooth check in. We will have forms available at the desk as well if you prefer. All pets visiting our facility are required to be current on all vaccinations, flea/tick control, and they must be spayed or neutered. Please submit vaccination certificate from your veterinarian prior to your visit. If your pet is found to have fleas/ticks they will be treated at owner's expense.

All pets over 6 months old, signing up for services must be spayed or neutered.

Required vaccinations:

1. Rabies

2. Multi-shot ( ex: DHLP, DHPP, DA2PL)

3. Bordetella ( this one is not always given as part of the regular shots, be sure to tell your vet that you need it)

Regular check-out time is between 7am - 12:30 P.M.; a late check-out can be scheduled by adding a 1/2 day of daycare. Any Sunday pick-ups will be between 12P.M. - 6 P.M. and the 1/2 daycare charge will be added after 3pm.

• Non-Holiday

  • For stays of 4 nights or more, a 50% deposit of your entire reservation amount will be due one week before your reserved check in date

  • If we do not have a deposit for your reservation within one week of your reservation, it may be cancelled.

  • If you cancel more than 2 days prior to your boarding reservation, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

  • If you are a no-show or cancel within the 48 hours prior to your boarding reservation, your deposit is forfeit.

  • Payment for the balance of the full boarding stay will be collected at time of pick up after your pets' stay.

  • All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.

  Holidays

  • Holiday reservations require a 50% deposit of your entire reservation amount will be due and collected up to one week before your reserved check in date.

  • If we do not have a deposit for your reservation within one week of your reservation, it may be cancelled.

  • 4 days' notice for holiday reservation cancellations is required to receive a full refund.

  • A holiday period is considered 3 days before and 3 days after the actual holiday.

  • Cancellations within the 4 day period prior to the holiday reservation and "no-shows" forfeit their 50% deposit.

  • Deposits cannot be used as credit toward other services.

  • Our office will be closed for drop-offs and pick-ups on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
